1. Bullshit
That's another fiction we have to work to dispel on the air. I think Americans are ready to rediscover their own interests.

She and her ilk fear that they'll be out of work, if they can't keep convincing Americans to drink their Kool-Aid.

9. Check out TIME mag this week.
I'm in Egypt, so I only get the crappy little International edition.

But there's a very good article predicting why liberal Democrats might hold power in DC for a generation. Completely blows Bay "At-The-Moon's" specious BS above.

10. Right--that's why Obama squeaked by with only 364 electoral votes
The phrase "elections have consequences" apparently also encompasses the
consequence that radical right-wing commentators have found that their
heads fit nicely in the sand or up their asses, and seem to fit better
in both places instead of held high celebrating American democracy--"unless
they're the dictator," as their Fearful Leader once said, and in far less jest
than appeared at the time.

Maybe because it isn't one.

20. Especially with McCain running against the "most liberal Senator"!
So the "most liberal Senator" beats the center-right candidate in a landslide, and the conclusion conservatives reach is that "this is still a center-right country".

Dumb, dumber, and dumbest. Keep talking, Bay. Get your crazy on!

15. I'm tired of hearing this bullshit
The election would indicate otherwise. I think people are waking up and abandoning these flawed ideals. At the same time the corporatism that grips this country is becoming very evident.

"Free market capitalism" in the United States has become largely mythical and illusionary. Those that already have much have scammed our economy for astronomical amounts of wealth.

The below trends are not accidental-

Saying Obama has center-right policies and then calling him a "socialist" at the same time. Do they think no one would notice the contradiction?

19. This is another attempt by the RW to repeat a lie and convince enough people
to believe we are a "center-right" nation, even though the Democrats have retaken control of Congress and the White House over the past two years, and the Dems increased their majority in Congress this month.

For example, Limbaugh, et al have blathered for years about all of the wonderful things about Ronald Reagan:

1. He was a fiscal conservative.
2. He shrank the size of government.
3. He ended the Cold War.
4. He personified family values.

As a result, most people on the street will parrot these perceptions about Reagan, but anybody who knows the real story of Reagan and his policies will tell you that the perceptions and the reality of Reagan are 180 degrees apart.

If you repeat a lie often enough, eventually, a lot of people will believe you're telling the truth.

22. The GOP was up right until the economy drop out because of GOP principles.
The GOP's ideas failed. Bay Buchanan Failed. Piss on the middle class failed. Deregulation Failed. War Failed. Boot straps Failed. Religious Wrong Failed. It all failed, but we are still center right? Two election cycles the GOP has failed and they live in denial because they can't think there way into the new century. They want to live in the past.

27. I am hearing this "America is Center Right" repeatedly on all cable news channels
this is apparently something the right feels urgently compelled to sell to the public. Personally I don't buy it as I believe that America is mostly progressive-liberal. I recall Bill Maher indicated that while many people will identify themselves as "conservative", when questioned about specific topics their responses indicate liberal attitudes.

jackass of a woman off of the media stage. This country sorely needs new blood in the pundit arena.
