Despite appearances, these aren't your ordinary grandparents. The Zimmers are the world's newest oldest (literally!) rock band and, apparently, they are taking serious aim at the Brit pop music charts. In the video, the seniors are performing a cover version of The Who's hit, "My Generation." The lead singer is 90 years old, but other group members are even older, edging toward 100.
The band came together thanks to Tim Samuels -- a documentary filmmaker -- who claims that "this is about old people sticking it back to the society that has cast them aside." Geezers Rock! I laughed and cried at the same time. I bet if you're old enough to have sung this song during it's original release, you will too. :hippie:

Luckily there were no traffic infingements although we did have some moody middle aged man shout abuse at us whilst trying to take some photos on the abbey road crossing. I tell you something they are more capable at living than some of my 30 year old friends!

I always knew your generation rocked! (We'd all be Nazis now if you hadn't stopped it.)

How timely! How clever! And... musical too! Obviously from Great Britain. America is too self-absorbed for something like this!

I bloody hope I'm still kicking it like that when I'm 90
