This extremely funny and poignant short animated film was nominated for an Oscar in the 90's, and its creator, Bruno Bozzetto, is the same guy who did both the Fantasia satire Allegro Non Troppo and the well-known Flash animation "Europe vs. Italy".

It has a lot to say on history, war, and so-called civilization--ENJOY!!

3. What's the best part of these cartoons?

The MUSIC! He's been using the same composer for years, and they couldn't be better matched.

I'm a musician myself, and I'm learning so much from these....

4. You're right about the music

I never really noticed it, because it fits so seamlessly with the action. Mostly, I was impressed by how this guy makes hysterically funny cartoons using the most simple of visual elements: nothing more than circles and squares in some cases.
