I doubt she really knows what we were founded on and I know that the 'Founding Fathers' didn't agree on very many issues; so for her to say what America was founded on is specious. There are tons of things that are a part of our contemporary government that were nowhere near the original foundational ideas for America.


And she sounds like a dive singer too.

The point about everybody paying the same tax rate. Sure, just as long as people are paid a viable living wage and that the rich fight in all the wars they want us to have too.

I really think these people believe they'll keep their tax deductions on their mortgage interest and other things they've become accustomed to. They think their tax rate would stay the same at worst, but most will think it will go down. You know it will go up because if you take away the progressiveness of the current tax structure, somebody's going to compensate for the lower rate paid by the upper income people, and guess who that will be?

All it would take is one year of this and these people will scream bloody murder. And probably blame the Democrats for some dumb reason.
