2. It's so simple.

Put the names on the top edges of the boxes instead of the middle.

Then put the Republican box above the Democratic box.

People will naturally try to touch the name, not the center of the box, so their finger will always be right on the edge of the box.

One small slip, and you just voted for McCain.

It doesn't take an electronic genius, just clever manipulation of the form design.

This is no different than the butterfly ballot.
