1. I'm glad Rachel is saying this, but...

...I don't think it's true. I think turn out will be too great. Maddows frequently takes the pessimistic argument on things, and is wrong at times. Still, it's valuable to be out on front of these issues.

2. Watch the video, dude
This title was a pretty poor match, but I used what the original YT poster had. The majority of the video is RFK jr. explaining what the suppression tactics are, and a bit on how to avoid being suppressed yourself.

Not all that pessimistic, actually.

3. She has got to stop stoking this crap. It's an important issue, but to speak of it...
so definitely doesn't help the dialogue about the issue.

4. Did you watch the video? Again, I apologize for the title,
I mostly just used what was already on it. Other versions of it are titled "Steal back your vote", the name of RFK Jr.s book, which has a more hopeful ring.

7. You are still an American citizen even if you don't own a car
Nor have you committed any shenanigans. Are we gonna allow Repubs to cut the black vote by 20%? Are we gonna stand for that?

9. World's Greatest Democracy????
Purging such a high percentage of voters for trivial technicalities. This is what KKKarl had in mind when he promised a permanent Republican government. My gawd if Obama goes into the election with a 10 point lead and loses??? there better be massive protests. I guess that's why the Dick brought a brigade home to set up the countries first "homeland" army - to keep the rioters in line when it all goes down. And all those new private prisons to hold them all.

Think about it. Even if the US allowed every person that walked into the polling center to vote, with only printed ID or a phone bill etc., would it even be 1% shift in the results? The amount of people who would go out of their way to attempt voter fraud by pretending to be someone else or try and hide their criminal record etc. would be negligible. Isn't it better to fare on the side of democracy when accepting new voters? Were there really almost 20% of voters in Colorado that had to be purged because they all might try and vote twice or what???...what was the danger?

In Canada our Con-servative government went part ways and passed a bill requiring photo ID as a standard this last election. But you still had two options, one is to bring in two pieces of written ID, could be a bank statement, or fishing license, anything with your name and address on it. The third option is to have another voter vouch for you and you sign a paper declaring you are who you say you are.

I think its outrageous to purge that high of a percent of new voters for trivial technicalities. And scary in a democratic nation. As usual the MSM is silent. But why aren't the Dems in congress shouting about this?
