9. I saw that clip yesterday

and the thing that struck me about it was how puffed up with pride this woman was.

She's proud of what little she knows.

She's proud of the fact that she's voting against her husband's financial interests and he's supposed to be the head of her home.

She's proud that she is not going to take responsibility for knowing better because she can throw off all of her responsibility onto God and make him shoulder it--she can't possibly to held accountable for what she does--kind of like a 2 yr old.

Her pride is grounded in what her preacher told her at church and bible class; she might read the bible, but it's clear she has no ability to comprehend what she's read, because if she did, then she would remember that Jesus ordered his believers to love everyone and to do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself. That part of what she's supposed to know of her faith is completely lost on her.

However, she should also know that pride goes before destruction and the haughty spirit before the fall. She'll be the first one crying at the food stamp office when they can't afford to eat or heat their homes or pay for medicine or find work because mclame was only pimping these knuckleheads for their votes, like bush did 8 years prior.
