I couldn't help but LAUGH!! Don't get me wrong, at one time I would have been frustrated and hurt, but Cenk hit the nail right on the head: they have such low self-esteem that they have to belittle someone else in order to relieve themselves of their complex. I feel sorry for them too, which brings me to my other point.

I don't think Obama feels he is better than anyone, but these poor souls must think he does. This is why it is so sad. They are deluded on two fronts, both missing the same point: no one is "better than" anyone else.Yet, they feel they are better than blacks and that Obama probably believes he is better than them. However, we all have different circumstances, talents, desires, appearance, etc., but fate placed these attributes in each of us. Therefore, if we had no control over how we look, what interests us, what talents we possessed or the degree of determination fate provided in us, then no one is "better than" any one else. And these poor saps are furious over this mistaken notion of "better than".

I will admit that there are probably a few nuts running around who will do what they can to kill a President Obama. However, the ones who MIGHT be bright enough to pull it off have evolved enough to know that it is not worth the trouble (at least, I hope this is the case). Therefore, only the bumbling idiots will probably make this attempt. This brings me back to my original point, all I can do is LAUGH when I hear these people say these things. Even though I feel some pity for them, they still give me a chuckle.

6. I hear ya' tho'

I commend your attitude and sense of humour but it really troubles me to hear what appears to be a young woman (That is the most shocking to me) say those despicable things. I'm white and I am deeply concerned for Barrack's welfare and his election is crucial to put an end to this fear and loathing. Cenk is right, it's repulsive and unacceptable.

to state that the callers are cowards. They are pretty much just "blowing off steam" and trying to scare people. One of my ways of taking the wind out of their sail is by being optimistic and doing the last thing they want: laugh.

When I first heard these ACORN messages I got so mad. But now I can only feel pity for these lost souls. Cenk is absolutely right, they hate themselves so much and they project their self hatred in this unfortunate way. They are complete losers at life and they know it. Why else would they leave such hateful messages. They don't have the balls to go to the ACORN office and say this to their faces. They hide behind a telephone or a computer so not only are they hateful and ignorant but they are cowards.

They can't handle the obvious fact that a black man (biracial is too big of a word for them) could become president and that they truly have no advantages left in their lives. Their skin color is not a guarantee of sucess...as if life itself hasn't show them that blaring fact.
