2. Mika just got spanked by daddy.
I cannot believe she is for Palin. She must be afraid of losing her job or is just plain stupid.

4. WTF?
Was scar-brow actually saying at the end that Palin's ability to look across the sea to Russia is "pretty important" in terms of her resume???? And why can't anyone begin using the mantra of how shrub wasn't exactly "experienced" and look where it has gotten us?

6. I like Zbig
I like his way of reasoning. He seems like an intelligent man and a lot of foresight. I am in the midst of reading his book America and the World. A must read and very insightful to the situation in the middle east. Its written in interview form between Scowcroft and Brzezinski which flows nicely and doesn't get too technical.

I think their ideas reinforce why it is important to get a man as President who thinks before reacts. I have no doubt Obama will approach the difficult and complex situation in the middle east appropriately. In all honesty, we can't take our people out immediately out of Iraq because there is such a threat of civil war. The Iraq war as enabled Iran to become stronger because Iran has no opposing neighbors anymore. So in diffusing one situation, another potentially dangerous situation is increasing.

7. these dorks and their experience argument. what good is experience if you dont learn anything?
judgment, skill. these things trump experience every time. every time. if that werent the case, people wouldnt retire, theyd continue with their careers into their "prime."

8. Ahhhh...
Ahhh...reality!

This election is the easiest I've ever voted in. It's a no-brainer. Race has nothing to do with it. Nor does religion or even party affiliation. It's about competence, intelligence, and integrity... what we've been missing for more than 8 years.
Go have a beer with McPalin if you want... and let the smart guys run things intelligently.

The campaigns and how they are run is very important this time around....in that they reflect clearly what kind of administration we're gonna get.

Obama is obviously in charge of his, listening to savvy smart people, considering their commentary and then making a decision. He can command this huge undertaking, and he can communicate to the people....about reality...without a condescending tone. He's real, and competent.

McCain on the other doesn't seem to be in charge of his own campaign. He contradicts it and seems uneasy within it. Palin will say the exact opposite of McCain....in different locations.....at the same time! Then the official campaign spokesman will even say something else. And what they say is some kind of fantasy or stereotype platitude no one with a brain really believes. McCain and Palin are just PR props and someone else is (poorly) running things...without coordination. His administration will be just like that. It's the way Bush's is now. More of the same for sure: Shadow government run from undisclosed locations by people no one elected with the Prez, and now VP, as PR cardboard cutout actors for the proletariat.

9. This Morning Joe crap is beneath irrelevancy at this point.
How sadly desperate, and pathetic they have become... I'm loving every second of it.
