1. A brave soul
to be standing amidst all those hatred-filled McCain supporting ingrates. All the guy who was standing next to him had was the ability to be a knuckleheaded loudmouth. That's all the McCain has is desperate followers.

VOTE EARLY
VOTE FOR CHANGE
VOTE FOR OBAMA AND BIDEN!

5. Oh man, Obama is going to have his hands full when he's president.
The wingnuts of today are going to try to make the Clinton years look like a hug from an old friend.

But with a Dem Congress and Dem House we should be able to get some things done. And we can throw 4 years of "It's unpatriotic to question the President" back in their hypocritical faces.

6. Very Encouraging Report
McCainiacs who are out protesting voters are not working to get out 'their' vote.

Really, protesting voting ... only in George W. Bush's and John McCain's America, uh?

8. That IS patriotic - they're exercising their 1st amendment rights.
There are Obama supporters there too - good for all of them.

I love the guy trying to explain how Obama holding a rally there is cheating. :D

11. Except campaigning and harasment near a place of voting might be illegal
And it was not the rally that was cheating. It was opening the voting place specifically for that.

Which he might actually have a point on - if true.

13. I don't care how the polling place opened - It is not cheating.
Coming up with rules that disenfranchises voters is cheating. Every single person that wants to vote in this country should have the opportunity to do so. I don't care what the circumstances were that opened that polling place. I am just glad it is open and people are voting. There is no early voting in my state so I will be standing in a long line on election day I am sure. It took me 4 hours to vote in 2004 and I suspect this time it won't be much different. The real shame is that when I vote in all other elections (which I vote every chance I get and that happens to be a lot in Alabama) I can practically walk straight into a booth. I can go into the polling place and be out in under 3 minutes.

They need to check themselves in the mirror big time. What the guy is really saying is everybody gets the chance to vote it's cheating, totally messed up.

15. Take note of the guy who calls Obama supporters "cheaters" for voting early
And then he admits to himself voting early for McCain on the day before.

That is some kind of special brand of stupid.

20. In fairness here -
Fayetteville, NC is home to Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. I am not far from Camp Lejeune and I'm hearing the same crap as those standing on the street. Not to be denigrating the military, but there are more McCain stickers alongside military ones on the bumpers of cars and trucks in this area.

21. I can see why they might be upset about opening additional polling places on Sunday
when Obama is in town for a rally and the polls are normally closed. If they had done that when McCain came to town on a Sunday, when polls are usually closed, I would have been very pissed. As would many of the people on DU.

I don't agree with what they're doing and saying except for the one guy who seemed to be able to rationally explain himself. The rest of them were garden variety repukes with their nasty-ass signs.

Also, I think we should do everything possible to be sure everyone votes. I'm just saying that in this case it smacks of tilting the scales toward the Dems. Elections should always be fair and balanced in every possible way.
