have in-laws who have grown up during Jim Crow and none of them hate this country, quite the opposite in fact! My father-in-law was a career Marine who will be removing one of his sons, also a Marine, from life support this week, and he LOVES this country! What he dislikes is the direction this country has been taken and the deceit used to put our soldiers in harms way for a purely political agenda. My elderly in-laws have endured so much hate for their race 1st hand and yet have an open mind about people of all races. For Rush to presume what black people think and how they act, maybe he should really get to know some, and I am not talking about any on his staff. This will never happen of course. The media play upon the fringes and the news making stuff. Showing regular black families who are a credit to their communities is boring stuff and it does not play to the stereotype. While there are always some that support any stereotype, people are people, simple as that! I wonder how bad Rush would whine if the situations had been reversed and his people had been enslaved and discriminated against!

Definition of racism:
1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

What Rush is essentially saying is that there is a great big "afro-centric" conspiracy out there that has simultaneously kept their own people poor and downtrodden, incited black children to hatred of whites, caused the financial crisis that's affecting Americans (and indeed the world) and wants America to burn, and therefore they've put up this candidate who will only further espouse these alleged ideals, causing havoc and destruction.

He's essentially implying (because obviously he's to clever to be explicitly racist, as I imagine most of his listeners want to delude themselves that they aren't racist, just hard done by) that they are the cause of all your problems, thereby promoting hatred and intolerance of black people, which fits in nicely with point 3. He's also implying that white people do none of these things, therefore leading the listener to believe that blacks are inherently like this due to their race, which fits in nicely with point 1.

I could probably link it to point 2 as well, but I've got a report to write, so hope that helps in your fight against the devil spawn (and yes, I am being an Ideologist here!)

I mean if I hated the US, I would certainly do more than simply register people to vote. Simply registering illegal and dead people, then hoping someone shows up to vote illegally, really wouldn't make a dent in a pool of about 120 million voters. You would need about 5 million people to cheat in order to have an impact on the vote. It would be much easier to simply rig the voting machines with a fake software code, like the Republicons do.

That's a way to make people hate America, force them to participate in Democracy by voting.
