by the way your reply takes me back to when I was 8 years old and went to see the Doctor.


During the exam (for measles I think) he turned to my mother and asked her what she called 'it'.

My mother said, "tinkling".

They still don't get it. Any statement you make will be dissected and played over and over. It really is simple there is no room for unsubstantiated rants anymore. In yesterdays politics they could get away with this crap, but no more. It's a new day, there are blogs, you-tube, and my favorite the wikipedia. Really the only way to succeed is to tell the truth and make damn sure it is in plain easy to understand words. This IMHO is the genius of Obama, he gets it and is running the first 21st century campaign. My hope is that he will follow through in the white house. If he doe's that I will believe that he really is from Krypton.

This woman is un-freakin-believable!!! McCain had a slim chance (very slim, mind you) of pulling this off but after picking Palin (wink, wink by golly!!!) he let us all know his judgment is seriously flawed and doomed his chances completely. Do these people honestly think this "Democrats are unpatriotic" shit is still going to play?!?!? The "your with us or your against us" mantra of "Dubya" worked because he could still use the fear factor to convince people he deserved four more years (and wasn't that just a tragic, horrific mistake...)but this crap just ain't gonna fly anymore. Sarah Palin is as capable of being Vice President as Ann Coulter is. I can't even let my mind go to the "she'd be but a heartbeat away..." thought because - well, that just turns my blood cold...Alaskan cold. Hang it up, Gramps. Palin is a moron and you let yourself get talked into choosing her as your running mate and made the worst mistake of your career. It's time to fade away and spend your remaining years travelling between your 13 houses with Cindy and let President Obama and Vice President Biden get on with dealing with the horrific mess they're going to inherit...and deal with it they will. By the way, I'm a Canadian and have never been more concerned with the outcome of an election in all of my 48 years...including any in my own country. The future of the United States is on the line here and the only possible hope is an Obama/Biden victory. It's back to Alaska for you, Sarah baby, and by golly, you can go back to keepin'(g) an eye on Putin from your backyard while you're shootin'(g) some moose, too. She said that Ayers is an unrepentant terrorist who wished he'd bombed more buildings. Yea, right. The history of Ayers evidently is too nuanced and complex for Bachmann. It's so disappointing that people like her get air time to spew their stories. No regard for the truth, no regard for what's honorable and right. All about agenda, agenda, agenda. She is yet another example of what is wrong with a large segment of the American population. No amount of cold, hard truth will break her out of the hypnosis she's under.

And what's with Matthews?!! Egging her on to say more and more about it but never quite turns the stupidity back on her. Close but not quite. Sure made her come across as a nut but frankly, I know several people who would be nodding their heads right along with her as if she were making sense.

Well I've had my daily dose of American stupidity. And she is one large multi-vitamin dose of it. I've got to go wash my ears and eyes out and read a good book.

18. Bachmann Speaks, Her Opponent Reaps!

Bachmann's opponent, El Tinklenberg, has raised over $100,000 since her appearance on Tweety last night.

This race is close - El is within the margin of error (about a 4% difference, and all this publicity can only help). And the DCCC recently added him to the Red to Blue campaign.

Please consider giving any amount to El so we can get this nutcase out of the House.
