The McCain-Palin ticket invokes the military often, but even the military community is showing strong support for Obama over McCain. Cindy McCain recently attacked Obama as a 'military mom,' and McCain noted the support he has from military wives. But in fact, the largest most organized group of military family members ever supports Obama this election. 2. The only bumperstickers I see on post are for Obama

Spouses and civilians can have political stickers on their vehicles.

I have not seen a single McCain sticker. Not one.

Obama excited military members early on and time has increased that excitement.

A lot of soldiers dislike McCain and Palin.

I wouldn't repeat some of the jokes the soldiers tell about McCain and Palin. They're pretty bad.

The other day my husband got so mad at a soldier for telling a Palin joke that was horribly mean. He said he was mad because the joke was just plain wrong...and madder still the soldier put him the position of defending Palin in any way. I told him he did the right thing. He knows he did...but it still rankled him.
