I always thought Richard Dawkins was laying it on a bit thick when he spoke of religion as child abuse but when you see how fucked up the Westboro sect is, I find it difficult to disagree with him.

These people are seriously fucked up. I feel sorry for the children, having been brainwashed into that particularly vicious and insane cult. The State of Kansas should seriously consider removing them from that environment. The parents may feed and clothe them satisfactorily but they're teaching the children to be raving lunatics. That SHOULD fall under some sort of mental cruelty law.
