Obama is a master. I'll admit it now. I have faith in his abilities, but to out-Rove John McCain? Unbelievable.

I'll explain, though you all know what I'm saying: McCain wants a below-the-radar slime war that he can publicly deny. Obama plays along for a little bit and stays on the issues (and wins more voters over). Then, McCain gets desperate and throws really stupid, unbelievable shit out there, on the assumption that Obama will continue to ignore it. But Obama instead calls him on it and even more, calls him a chickenshit for not saying it himself. In other words, don't send your little cronies to do a man's job, John.

And then McCain HAS to respond, and he does so by saying he WILL respond if he gets the opportunity.

This all but guarantees that we will hear about this at the debate Wednesday. McCain can't win, either way: if he brings it up, Obama will hammer him for being a fool and a rumor-monger. Oh, and there's the small matter of all of McCain's sleazy friends he made after the age of 8. If McCain dodges the question, again, then he looks like an even bigger fool and, yes, a COWARD. (why do I think "coward" is going to be a very popular word this weekend?)

My hat is off to Obama/Biden. I mean, goddamn.
