8. Drinking game would be a bad idea...
unless, of course, you WANT alcohol poisoning! Maybe an alternative would be drink water for each "my friends" and something stronger or each time he says "fundamental." You'll still end up drunk, and you'll feel better the next morning.

3. gibberish
he is not my friend, how can he say he is my friend. i do not know him, he has never seen me, much less talk to me. we have no friendship, nor does he have friendships with all other americans. this saying has become meaningless, he just says it. i resent it and wish he would stop. his friends belong to politics and the elite 10%. what a royal pain in the arse!!!!!!!

4. My daughter, who is not political,
commented on this last night. She said it repulsed her. I find it extremely irritating. I doubt I could ever qualify as a friend of mclame because he is certainly no friend of mine.

I also find equally annoying his insertion of an 'R' in Washington so it becomes WARshington. I guess in his tiny world that IS its purpose.

7. "Warshington" is a midwestern and/or "folksy" accent
My mother (native of Topeka, Kansas) always said "warsh". A lot of people in the Midwest (and maybe rural in general, too) say "warsh".
I'm not sure how often "warsh" is said in Arizona, or wherever McCain grew up. (I can find out McCain's birthplace, but try as I might, I can't find definitively where he grew up-- I guess I have to buy his bio book if I'm to find it out. Was it DC? Florida? Maryland? Virginia?-- none of those places seem to be big "warshing" places.)

Coming from McCain, saying "warsh" sounds like his version of Palin's "you betchas". Fake folksy.

5. Good Post: I was wondering what the F is up with My Friends, My Friends, My Friends.
I think he was having a conversation with his nuts. He says something, looks down at his bag, and says My Friends.

10. Saying "My Friends"
is right up there with someone who says "trust me"......a clear sign that you should consider neither to be true and run the other way......Actually, it makes me think of a used car dealer.....or a snake oil salesman from an old western.....
