2. Perhaps Obama Camp should say no more debates until
Sen McCain treats him with respect and defference.

5. Ha McCain can't even spell respect, lets go down the list
He doesn't respect young woman, thus the crude joke about Chelsea
he doesn't respect his wives, Carol, or cindy
he doesn't respect regulation that protect americans
He doesn't respect the Law (Keating 5)
He doesn't even respect his own votes. For Feingold bill, then against it
he doesn't respect the truth "Obama voted 94 times to blah blah blah"
He doesn't respect the office of VP enough to take the time to pick a crediable VP
He doesn't respect the Media, The black out of Bobble headed barbie
He doesn't respect women in the media, the reporter he left stranded at the airport
He doesn't respect our intelligence just tonight he told that Voter Oliver Clark, "you probably never heard if Fannie mae before the bailout"
We know he doesn't respect Obama, he called him "that"
He definately has no repect for woman who have suffered from being raped, remember the ha ha Ape Rape Joke.
He doesn't respect his position as a "stateman" making jokes about bombing any country is sick, ot the suggestion of giving them all lung cancer. I have watched family die from that disease, it's not funny.

and most of all
He doesn't respect this country enough to openly admit his plan is to eliminate Medicare, and charge us for healthcare and give all the money to the insurance companies.

Ok sorry for the rant, but it felt good
I am sure there is much more

6. OMG, this is really sad. McCain lacks respect and grace.
I shudder at the thought of McCain dealing with international leaders in this way.

7. Oh my..... its been hidden, but getting pretty obvious ....
Lets face it folks, bigotry abounds in the world, even in the best of us.
Its really part of the human condition. Black, white, all of us.

Yet because we are human the bigotry does not have to be a problem,
our intelligence permits us to control our actions. Bigotry thus may be
a part of us, and may challenge our thoughts, but it does not have to
control our actions.

Yet looking at McCain, we see plainly the bigot.... he cannot hide it.
At the first debate McCain's demeanor was noted and I posted
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=7226200&mesg_id=7232400

Tonight at the round table I saw him insultingly patronize a young black man who had a question on
economics. Obama clearly caught that, and gave the young man a responsive answer.

That handshake snub mentioned here, settles my mind.
McCain IS a bigot, and also personally dislikes Obama.
But as I have explained, we are all bigots and that is not the problem.
The problem is, McCain's bigotry apparently controls his actions.
And that IS a problem. A big problem.
A problem for America.

13. The long-standing custom I believe is....
for the principles (historically men) to shake hands, then introduce their
seconds (in this case wife/wives).

The snub was plain and deliberate. Many noticed.

This is no minor breach of etiquette, and McCain is no unmannered rube.
People lose their jobs, and maybe their lives for such insult.
It has no place in US Presidential politics.

McCain will pay a price for it.
The sad part is, and it is sad, he couldn't help himself.

18. He did not shake his outstretched hand. That's fact. If you don't think that's a snub, that's cool
That's your opinion.

However the no-handshake happened. Maybe it was just an accident. Maybe not.
