In 1993 and 1994, John McCain voted against legislation to protect abortion clinics from violent "pro-life" extremists. He was one of just 30 Senators to oppose the legislation.

One small quibble. Don't frame anything in their terms. Use "anti-abortion" instead of "pro-life".

The reason Jed used "pro-life" was to show the hypocrisy in McCain's position.

That's why he put it in quotes.
