What the liberal media doesn't understand is that Sarah Palin needed to charge rape victims for their own kits because she needed that money to buy herself a $24,000 SUV and spend $50,000 redecorating her office at Wasilla with that tax money.

I am surprised no one has challenged this fee in court. I know that if my wife got raped, and got a bill from the police for collecting evidence, I would encourage her to fight it all the way. If she were up to it, that is.

To try to collect off the most devastated of violent crime victims, other than murder perhaps, is morally reprehensible to put it politely.
