Like someone said on YouTube, this looks like a parent-teacher conference.

6. Gotcha Journalism? Okay, don't they know that all journalism must be
GOTCHA journalism? These guys, politicians, decision makers, captains of industry, need to have their feet constantly held to the fire and journalists are their to serve this purpose.

Anyone who enters the public arena and dares have the audacity to complain about journalists can go to hell.

My God, the interviewer finishes the question and she is already started on an answer.

Gotcha journalism? That is their excuse?

...take your daughter to work day for Gramps.

What's with McLAme's goofy facial ticks. Is it that much work lying on national TV?

11. I thought Katie was over the top
when she said to Sarah: "Are you sorry you said it?" Overblown. That kind of stuff generates sympathy sometimes. I thought her first interview with Sarah was better; more understated. When she gets aggressive, it's like one of those little dogs growling and biting people's ankles.

12. The film looks spliced
anyone else notice the jump from the questions to the answers? I'm fairly positive that there may have been a few "do over" moments with this interview. I'm guessing that CBS did the bad edit job on purpose.

18. I recall reading something that early in the Bush administration
the corporate media would edit his responses to remove all of his ums, aahs and other speech quirks This was done to make him appear more coherent.

Hasn't CBS already been caught doing something like that for McCain this year? Remember CBS/VIACOM is owned by Sumner Redstone who said in the last election that he votes what is good for VIACOM. I can see them massaging McCain's shriveled manhood to help get him elected.

Here is a link to an article about Sumner Redstone voting for what is good for his corporation, Viacom.

From The Asian Wall Street Journal

With the scandal at CBS still festering, questions are being raised about whether a felony was committed when the network broadcast apparently forged memos in an attempt to discredit George W. Bush. Yesterday, the chairman of CBS's parent company chose Hong Kong as a place to drop a little bomb. Sumner Redstone, who calls himself a "liberal Democrat," said he's supporting President Bush.

The chairman of the entertainment giant Viacom said the reason was simple: Republican values are what U.S. companies need. Speaking to some of America's and Asia's top executives gathered for Forbes magazine's annual Global CEO Conference, Mr. Redstone declared: "I look at the election from what's good for Viacom. I vote for what's good for Viacom. I vote, today, Viacom.

20. Let her keep sniffing! She's getting GREAT stuff.
I want a Sarah Palin channel, hosted 24/7 by Katie Couric, on my TV showcasing how abysmally stupid Palin is.

Katie is doing a great job here. She's obviously lobbing softballs and letting everybody see that Palin can't handle them.

19. oh ya
CBS already cut a portion of the CBS interview with Palin. She was asked about the supreme court and went silent. She couldn't even pretend to answer the question. There was dead air while she just sat there. They cut it from the released version. That is total crap!

when McPalin is spouting obvious bullshit, or the undeniable scowl that comes across her face when it gets to be too much. LMAO.

Katie,
I appreciate your work around the Palin interview. You have asked tough questions and demanded answers other than the usual stump speech response. Please keep up the good work there.
I did want to let you know that there is a great many Americans that feel the full interview should be released. There were issues around the Palin response to Supreme Court matters. The public has the right to know the truth about her lack of understanding these issues. Please release this interview portion and any others that may have been held back to keep from embarrassing the McCain Palin ticket.

24. McCain just implied Palin has "no experience"
He says Reagan was "a cowboy", Clinton was the governor of a "very small state", then says "...but they didn't have any experience, either." I think that qualifies as a gaffe...

27. McCain is just as much of a "Moran" when he starts talking about
Reagan's and Clinton's limited experience being questioned to justify Palin's experience/readiness for office. Yet he continues to question Obama's experience???!!!! Somebody should have given Grampy some talking points. Also I've gotta believe that Katie must have a big ticking time bomb to make these two fools sit down for this interview. Is she holding the video as ransom??!!!
