2. Did you notice...?

Did anyone else who watched this clip notice that for 2 of the polls that the total was higher than 100%?? 55+49=104 & 41+68=109. Is this common with these polls or did CBS fudge them??

5. What I heard was "oh, they polled more Dems"

as an excuse for results. Maybe CBS added a few % to McStupid.

7. It's not a bad poll...

...it's just not a traditional "one or the other poll". What that means is that people who were polled were asked separately about McCain and Obama. For example, people were asked if they thought John McCain would make good decisions about the economy and then were asked the same question about Barack Obama. This is why the numbers don't add up to 100% -- they are a part of two separate questions. I hope this helps clarify things!

4. WHAT?

Maybe my math is off, but WTF?

On Iraq: 55% for McCain and 49% for Obama? (104% in case you're wondering)
On the economy: 41% for McCain and 68% for Obama (109% total)

I realize there is margin of error of +/- 5 points, but still. Not very clear.
