1. Glad I didn't watch with the split screen set up.....
Cause I would have been mad just for the fact that they tried to equalize their heights.....but what is funny is you can see McCain's podium, but not Baracks...meaning Barack was taller than the box he was in suggests!

The "surge" was an unqualified success, but at "WHAT PRICE"?



The death toll of American military personnel at the time of the announcement of the "Surge" was 3,014.
There have been 1,158 casualties and >20,000 wounded since it's inception. True, the rate of killings has slowed, but they have not stopped, nor will they. This slowing of the death rate would not have happened if we had not taken sides in their conflict. We took sides when we refused
to count votes is certain areas during their Constitutional elections. It was said at the time that it was too dangerous to hold the elections in these areas. Ignore the populace and you are building your house with 1x1's instead of 2x4's.
