Some folks might hear "of course it is," but who wouldn't put it past McCain? Worth a listen.

7. Navy, actually.
As a Navy man myself, I hate that he was in the same service I was. And at the same time.

13. And as I'm on AD right now, with less than 4 years to retirement...
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 03:28 AM by ALiberalSailor
...it makes me ill to think his signature could possible be on my retirement and discharge certificates. BTW, nice to meet you shipmate!

19. Hey!
I was on a destroyer for three years, left active duty in 1968, after taking my ship over to the Tonkin Gulf.

I have to confess I can't remember exactly what an AD is.

*EVEN WITH* incompetent sphincters like McCane.

27. Ooops, sorry
My evil twin hypnotized me and made me type the wrong branch of the service.

I was in the Army, but my uncle served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He passed away in 2003.

In any case, sailors have a reputation for language that is as salty as the sea, so the point still stands.

10. The FCC should go George Carlin on him Shit is one of the seven bad words banned from Radio & TV
So should we ask the FCC to rule on McCain's obscene words?

14. At first I did think he was saying horseshit (twice), but after watching it ten times
I think he is saying "Of course." "Of course it is." (Of course Spain is an ally.)

Too bad, cuz I was getting ready to post this everywhere and make it go viral. He doesn't say horseshit.

He's saying 'of course...' I heard him say it several times during the clip playbacks on Hardball and Rachel Maddow earlier this morning. Obama's 'Spain' dig was quite popular on MSNBC and was repeated several time.

You're listening to badly reproduced audio.

30. That petulant sigh. The weird grimacing while Obama talks.
I thought that was disrespectful as hell. I can't imagine it will go over well. These are supposed to be serious adults having a serious discussion.

Whether or not he actually said "horseshit", his whole demeanor was unpresidential.

31. Trust me I am an expert at this. He says a two syllable word first.
I have done years of dialog replacement for films and anime. Actually putting English in Japanese and other language mouth movements. He says a two syllable word followed by three or four.

My guess is the first words are "Horse shit". Two words of one syllable. The next is jumbled phrase.

Ha Ha good ears. But with a good eye too you can piece the two together.:smoke:
