Republicans are giddy with Sarah Palin to distract from the
doddering confused, sell-out John McCain. The once
"Independent" McCain has finally surrendered what
little integrity he may have had in a last ditch effort to
grab the Presidency as he shuffeled along on a campaign
destined for failure.

Now the base has renewed vigor! An under qualified,
superstitious, hypocrite, soccer mom fills that need
Republicans have to avoid personal intimidation by appointing
reflections of themselves rather than intelligent, competent
"elites" to the highest offices on Earth.

In a purely political trick McCain picked the perfect
Republican V.P. An unqualified, government hating, poseur.

Frank, this is priceless! Do you have a transcript for those who have dialup or otherwise can't access video? I looked in your journal. This needs to be IN PRINT, imo.

My favorite was the opening (althought I had a LOT of favorites in this one!)

“ greedia continue to tinker and play with America’s election process in an effort to at once increase revenue by utilizing cheap sensationalism and horserace-style reporting to secure another nation-wrecking, treasury-plundering, working-class-taxpayer-raping war mongering corporately-servile administration in the guise of the “reformer” John McCain and his insultingly ignorant and vacuous VP pick, Sarah, the Cowardly Wolf Killer Palin."

Obama - Never In a Beauty Pageant! Can He Lead?
The Frank Factor - 9/14/08

Self serving American media corporations continue to tinker and play with America's election process in an effort to at once increase revenue- by utilizing cheap sensationalism and horse race style reporting to secure another nation wrecking, treasury plundering, working class taxpayer raping, war mongering corporately servile administration in the guise of the QUOTE reformer UNQUOTE, John McCain and his insultingly ignorant and vacuous vice presidential pick Sarah the cowardly "wolf killer" Palin.

In typical Republican style, a McCain campaign that was floundering, as it became impossible for even the corporate media to hide McCain's mental deficiencies and blatant sell out tactics on the campaign trail, tried to deflect attention from the mentally unbalanced and confused McCain to Barack Obama's alleged inexperience.

Even that was failing as Democrats continued to attract record numbers of new voters and colossal crowds at Barack Obama's events. The next attempt to pander to the citizens came in the form of McCain's desperate overnight pick of Sarah Palin as V.P- a stunning move- if the object was to give the choir a new tune to sing- one that helps to bury the embarrassment of their allegiance to the faltering McCain with a mirror like reflection of the their own image- an arrogantly vacuous, socially retarded, soccer mom with a disdain for science, facts and foreign policy.

A celebration ensued, not because the openly insulting pander to the women vote broadened the Republican ticket's appeal, but rather, now the party has someone they feel less ashamed of to rally behind than the doddering McCain. A kind of female version of George W. Bush but with a sixth grade command of the English language versus Bush's sub-human abilities. A gain that is more than canceled out by the seizure inducing screech of Palin's voice and her rental car lady in "Planes Trains and Automobiles" accent.

CLIP: Steve Martin at car rental

Just for giggles I thought since the "greedia" has decided sharing Barack Obama's actual resume' with their viewers is not really as important as pig lipstick, that I would take this opportunity to highlight some of the germane items in Mr. Obama's list of accomplishments.

Here's the short list:

*12 years as Constitutional Law professor

Why don't we just stop right there and let that sink in for a minute?

*12 years as Constitutional Law professor

Republicans will have a lot of trouble comprehending that phrase so for those that might be watching, let me help you understand-

*12 years as Constitutional Law professor

I think you're most likely getting hung up on "Constitutional".
I think you can get the years part, and the professor part (that's like a teacher, like many of you are when you home school you kids and teach them that the Earth is flat and six thousand years old and Jesus rode around on Dinosaurs, and that everyone that's not a christian will suffer eternal torment when they die)

Only here's the really hard part to understand- Barack taught CONSTITUTIONAL law. You may not be familiar with this thing called the CONSTITUTION. I think you'll be surprised to find out that it has a lot to do with America and being an American. If you pastor will let you you should Google CONSTITUTION and see what that's about.

Let's continue shall we...

*8 years as State Senator for district of over 750,000 people
*4 years in Senate representing a state of 13 million people
*Chairman of Senate's Health and Human Services committee
*Sponsored 136 bills,
*Served on Foreign Affairs, Environment & Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees
*First black President of Harvard Law Review

How 'bout a little more detail?

Obama holds assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations; Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and Veterans' Affairs, and he is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In August 2005, he traveled to Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan. The trip focused on strategies to control the world's supply of conventional weapons, biological weapons, and weapons of mass destruction as a first defense against potential terrorist attacks.

Following meetings with U.S. military in Kuwait and Iraq in January 2006, Obama visited Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.

He left for his third official trip in August 2006, traveling to South Africa, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Chad. In a nationally televised speech at the University of Nairobi, he spoke forcefully on the influence of ethnic rivalries and corruption in Kenya.

Obama worked with Russ Feingold (D–WI) to eliminate gifts of travel on corporate jets by lobbyists to members of Congress and required disclosure of bundled campaign contributions under the "Honest Leadership and Open Government Act", which was signed into law in September 2007.

He joined Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in sponsoring S. 453, a bill to criminalize deceptive practices in federal elections, including fraudulent flyers and automated phone calls, as witnessed in the 2006 midterm elections.

I'd like to refresh your memory on something germane to this matter: In 2000 George W. Bush supporters engaged in push polling in an attempt to smear John McCain. They repeatedly called peoples homes in South Carolina and deceptively insinuated that John McCain had an illegitimate black child. The fraud was successful- McCain lost. Saxby Chambliss, Republican also launched ads that painted triple and amputee Vietnam veteran Max Cleland as soft on national security because he'd voted against creating the Homeland Security Act. In truth, Cleland co-wrote the legislation to create the Homeland Security Department, but objected to repeated attempts by the White House to deprive future Homeland Security employees of traditional civil service protection. Ah those Christian values!

Back to Obama:

Obama also introduced the "Iraq War De-Escalation Act", a bill to cap troop levels in Iraq, begin phased redeployment, and remove all combat brigades from Iraq before April 2008.

Later in 2007, Obama sponsored with Kit Bond (R-MO) an amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Act adding safeguards for personality disorder military discharges, and calling for a review by the Government Accountability Office following reports that the procedure had been used inappropriately to reduce government costs.

joined Chuck Hagel (R-NE) in introducing legislation to reduce risks of nuclear terrorism. A provision from the Obama-Hagel bill was passed by Congress in December 2007 as an amendment to the State-Foreign Operations appropriations bill.

Obama also sponsored a Senate amendment to the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to provide one year of job protection for family members caring for soldiers with combat-related injuries. After passing both houses of Congress with bipartisan majorities, SCHIP was vetoed by President Bush in early October 2007, a move Obama said "shows a callousness of priorities that is offensive to the ideals we hold as Americans."

This is just a brief selection of Senator Obama's accomplishments. You had me a 12 years as a Constitutional law professor. But alas, as far as we know Senator Obama has never hid in an airplane and tortured any wild animals, served or eaten any moose burgers or been a runner-up in a beauty pageant.

Well, whaddya gonna do?
