1. That ad is so under the belt nasty that it makes me want to puke
That ad has Roves greasy thick little fingers all over it! Obama needs to fight back with a vengeance but at the same time kick up the offense a notch. We cant get stuck playing defense.

6. Agree
It is repugnant Rovian tactics at work, again. I think the press release the Obama put right out was good, but they need to hit harder tomorrow. It is time to take these liars down.

Welcome to DU, btw!

2. Sirota sounds like a clueless wimp here
These 527s need to put out an ad in response that says "McCain is trying to protect PEDOPHILES!" That's you win the "culture war", not with some namby-pamby nuanced appeal to "economic issues". Jeebus Crise on a crutch!

3. The time to hit back is NOW
Don't wait. Election day is less that 8 weeks away. Don't let this go.

The McCain campaign is LYING. Take note of it. It's habit-forming. They're
lying about this. They'll lie about other things.

Best line of the broadcast: McCain said he didn't know what honor is. Now we know why.

16. You fail to realize...
that there are extremely stupid people out there who will believe this. Whether you do it intentionally or not, you are making the mistake of measuring the populace by your own standard. Just because you wouldn't buy into it doesn't mean it won't be effective. I still have members of my own family (which shames me to no end) who believe Obama is a muslim. Gore and Kerry didn't have the fight in them and lost. Obama must take off the gloves and give these pigs a proper slapping and he doesn't have to tell one lie. Otherwise there are going to be a lot of sad people here on November 5th.

13. Think McCain has made that pretty apparent all on his own.
But with all the people who had their heads up *ush's tush, it was quite a stretch for McAnus to compete with the legacy left behind.

11. They have no policy, no brains, no honor -- all that's left is lies.
Dare I say, McCain and Palin have stepped into "White Trash" territory?

We need a song.

14. I don't agree..
...sure you hit back hard but you don't let Obama do it. That's exactly what they want him to do is to respond directly to these 'big lies' - sorta like the old 'mud wrestlin' with a pig'. Let 'the campaign' respond...or Biden...or some other surrogate/spokesman(or woman)...only use Obama when the attacks are personal in nature that call for a 'personal' reply - I don't believe this is one of them.

15. I teach preschool children how to stay safe. This makes me sick!
We are mandated to use this personal safety curriculum. I'm in a rage!

TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING Overview
A Personal Safety Curriculum
The TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING curriculum teaches children simple rules to guide them toward safe decision making. This research-based, teacher-friendly program explores well-being in a variety of situations and teaches:

Safety rules about cars, bicycles, and pedestrians.
What to do in the presence of guns or other weapons.
How to respond to a fire emergency.
Knowing when to ask permission from a caregiver.
The definition of a safe touch and how to respond to unwanted touches.
Standing up for safety in an assertive manner.
Asking for help in uncomfortable and possibly dangerous situations.
Safety Skills Prevent Victimization
Incidences of child abuse know no borders, boundaries, or incomes. They occur in every class, culture, and ethnic group. Abuse isn't the only danger facing children. Harm can come from a variety of potentially dangerous situations—including fires, traffic, and proximity to firearms.

Classroom use of the TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING program provides children with the safety skills they need to prevent victimization.

Program Components and Support
The 15- to 30-minute TALKING ABOUT TOUCHING lessons are taught in order, which builds knowledge sequentially. The program shows staff how to identify behaviors that may indicate a child is being abused or harassed as well as how to respond to disclosure of abuse.

Our program support specialists will answer your questions, help you work through a problem, and provide strategies as you launch or evaluate the program—all free of charge for the life of the program. We also offer exceptional training for educators and trainers.

This is an absolutely hateful ad. Yes, we teach them these skills ...before they can read!
