The morning after reports of St. Paul police in full riot gear abusing protesters... including journalists... Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (who was on John McCain's VP short list) defended the way police handled protesters.

1. tim pawlenty is a fascist thug.
He needs to be named in the civil suits that the RNC knew would follow their cynically unconstitutional criminality in St. Paul.

They planned ahead for being sued for at least $10 mil.

2. Suppose that same shit was pulled on those Brooks Brothers
asshairs that disrupted the counting of ballots in Florida in 2000. In fact after next year I can't wait till the tables are turned and they get to feel the brunt of the truncheons and rubber bullets and pepper spray when trying to excersise their Constitutional right to assemble and use their freedom of speech. Then we can compare notes.

7. Egg-zackly
I saw journalists arrested. What property had they destroyed?
And from another video I saw they found lamp oil, gasoline, hatchets and other things people keep in their garage. What probable cause?

This overkill is OK, but the crazy, weapon storing, minor F*&%king Branch Davidians were just practicing their religion and the FBI were over the top?

How about some consistency here?

5. Has Feelenty had face work done around the eyes?
He also failed to mention that in the pre-RNC raids there were no arrests and nothing confiscated. Hmmmmmmm........

8. Triumph the Insult Dog gave Pawlenty a good going-over - jokes was on him entirely
From one joke to another of course. He will never be able to look people in the eye the same after being led to believe he was the VP choice after giving McCain his all- and then McCain goes and picks a stranger who didn't put a minute of support into his campaign just because she was a woman and an unknown. Pretty sad reason to choose your VP - but even more distressing for Pawlenty who was completely hung out to dry by his own party.

He was Pawlenty disappointed.

9. Tim, I Hope to see the Day You are Treated with Less Respect Than the Protesters
you belong behind bars for what you did to patriotic Americans. You deserve to live under an oppressive loser such as yourself.

10. Thom Hartmann was there
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 08:53 AM by Mugsy
AAR radio host Thom Hartmann reported on the air about seeing a policeman pushing a protester to the ground and started banging his head on the concrete.

I'm sure Thom would have plenty to say about Gov. Tim's comment about "violent protesters".
