Anyone watching understands the context to which he was speaking. Even the fundies wouldn't be stupid enough to try and give this legs... But then again who knows... They might... They already got the racists like that hag in PA that said she would not vote for Obama because he is Black... There are those intent on believeing he is a muslim its the Name but who knows... Maybe there is enough intelligent Americans to overcome the Idiots.

4. I find it unfortunate. . .

that being called a Muslim is considered a slur. Much like being called gay was considered a slur, but is gradually changing now or many years ago, being called black. Attitudes that people have towards those different from themselves change as they let go of fear. I wish that politically it would be safe to say "I am not a Muslim, but so what if I were?" This might not go over too well politically and that reflects poorly on our attitude towards Muslims generally.

7. Obama did mis-speak, he was talking about how the GOP doesn't talk about him being a Christan.

...I thought as soon as I heard the mistake that the freepers would jump all over it, a Youtube will be made and e-mailed all across freeper-land.

Right away I thought of Kerry's "I voted for the $80 billion, before I voted against it". I wish someone on our side would show the whole clip of that sentence. We need an ad showing THAT Kerry clip so America would know how dishonest and manipulative the GOP is.
