14. Now THERE's a visual...
I can see Henry K. holding Palin's hand at the movies, while watching Apocalypse Now.

"Don't worry Sarah, everything will be OK. Pay no attention to the man riding the bomb. He's only a metaphor for... ahem, would you like me to advise you if you become president?"

3. Wow! Even hardcore right Ben Stein is turning on them!
I remember last week during the DNC, Stein was berating the Democratic speeches and was touting the GOP.

However, to see him totally flip-out against Palin and McCain is really surprising! :o

Anyway, I hope Stein is actually moving towards right-center, instead of far right like he's been for the past 8 years.

5. I do not like Ben Stein. He says he believes in Intelligent Design.
I believe in something like Intelligent Design, but I would not teach it in schools. I believe that Scientce, the Scientific Method, Skepticism, and Open Mindedness is superior to self-righteousness, and dogmatism.

Was this after, or before Gov. Palin's Speech?

Ben Stein?

7. I don't think the two are mutually exclusive
And I don't want ID taught in schools. The facts and evidence show that there is evolution, so that is science. Whether "God" sparked human life or not is religion. Keep them separate unless you are able to prove God's design with the scientific method.

11. Gotta say that Ben was surprisingly honest in this segment. Shockingly.
Like the rest of them, I can't wait to see him in 5 days after having been re-educated by his higher-ups.

12. Let's be clear... this doesn't change the Obama/Biden theme of McCain as "More of the Same" ...
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 04:46 AM by krkaufman
Palin as VP, as was seen in her speech on Weds, turbo-charges the "more of the same" argument... since McCain was really just an extension of Bush policies... but Palin is apparently the embodiment of the hyper-partisan, fact-averse negative politics we've seen from the Bush Administration for the last 8 years.

Palin completes McSame.

13. What a repellent little man.
As if George Bush, or Reagan, or any of the Republican leaders weren't clueless figureheads who required full-time babysitters. As if McCain won't have to be throttled back real time, in front of our eyes. As if Palin is any different from these, to earn the repellent little man's disdain while he worships the ground the rest, including Nixon, walk on.

A thing one could say to a man such as this is that if Palin needs a "babysitter", so much more should McCain, who chose her then stood back to watch the hoopla. And McCain's advisors. McCain's babysitters.

What a repellent political party, the Republicans.

15. What a repellent little man
You know it's hard for to understand how these people coould win an election of any kind. Of corse we all know how they won eight years ago. I mean who really wants this war. I get a very nasty vibe from palin. I look at her she gives me the chills. She is definnially not female. She mcains twin with only a different body.
