Marilyn Musgrave voted against a $1500 combat bonus for troops, while taking $14,000 in pay raises for herself.

1. We're working hard to replace Musgrave.

Her district (Colorado's 4th) has a significant population of diehards. Campaign workers often hear comments to the effect that Marilyn's opponent has better qualifications - but they will never vote for anyone but a Republican. These people would vote for a dead pig with an R branded on its butt before they'd vote for any Democrat.

That said, Markey has a good and energetic organization and has recently been polling ahead of Musgrave. In response, Musgrave has reverted to her signature anti-gay posturing. She's tried to rebrand herself with stints pouring coffee at local cafes or pumping gas for customers at stations in her district. People don't seem to be buying the 'new and improved' packaging, however. Hope springeth eternal.

she should be the bride of darth vadar! the woman has never had an original idea in her head. and her lips are so firmly attached to junior's ass I'm surprised she's been able to do much campaigning at all.
