She and her husband were detained by police in St. Paul on Fri. 8/29/08 while attending an organizing meeting of activists protesting the RNC in the Twin Cities. They were not arrested, and eventually released. However, they returned home to find their garage and car had been burglarized. Nothing was taken, but documents and belongings had been searched. Interviewed at a gathering in Powderhorn Park on 8/30/08."

on edit, Iglehart Ave, the address at the beginning, is in St. Paul not far uphill from downtown. Powderhorn is over in Mpls so I don't know what the connection is.

Clearly demonstrates who the police represent. Today they came for "them"...tomorrow they may come for you with trumped up accusations that you were speaking to a possible terrorists or [person with terrorist connections...which means they don't have to charge you with anything and just haul you off indefinitely without informing anyone. Still think FISA was not all that big a deal???

rounding up of anarchists in the park and telling them to leave, but nothing like this clear intimation strategy.

The unauthorized march to the Pepsi Center by IVAW was allowed and did not result in arrests.
