2. No, sorry stuff. You have no business posting that shit here. There
is enough substance to attack McCain with without getting into the gutter. You should peddle your crap someplace else.

3. How is this "getting into the gutter"?
It's a very real possibility.

4. I'm sorry that you're offended,
I'm not "peddling shit" I just saw this vid on youtube and thought it had a valid point. So I'm sharing with my favorite website. When Obama said Thurs. that McCain is proud of his country but just doesn't get it, The old issue came to my mind. please, lighten up.

6. I think the reaction may have had a lot to do with your post count.
People who haven't been around very long, and who post anything even slightly controversial, tend to be greeted with a lot of skepticism.

Myself, I don't hold this post against you one bit. It's something that has got to be considered, and many valid points are brought up in the video. If you really are here as a "troll", it will all come out in the wash sooner or later anyway. That's what our mods are for.

5. The truth hurts but it must be said and this is in NO WAY
getting into the gutter. My mother has been suffering from Dementia for about 4 years and McCain has MANY of the symptoms my Mom had during the first 2 years. She has declined horribly in the past year -- there is no doubt in my mind that McCain has early to mid Dementia. He has no damned business even being CONSIDERED for the Presidency.

7. What a coincidence--I am watching "No Country for Old Men" at this very moment.
My mother has been in a nursing home with Alzheimer's or dementia now for 12 years. She hasn't even known who I am for at least a couple of years now. We can see now in hindsight how she displayed signs of dementia years before she was diagnosed with it. Years from now, or even sooner, we may look at this time as the hindsight moment when we first should have realized that John McCain has the early signs of dementia.

9. Did you read the TIME interview where McCain was
unnecessarily prickly?? There was no reason for him to be so irritable. He was getting softballs, and yet he was explosive. And, we find that McCain is very often irritable and outright forgetful and glazed over and confused these last months.

The video may be a bit over the top, but what the hell else do you expect from a polemic film??? WTH did you click on it for???

But you're just flat-out wrong-headed to say that McCain's mental fitness is not a legitimate issue in this election debate and not a subject of substance! And I've been here a long time, so you can just dare to accuse ME of peddling crap.

I DO NOT TRUST John McCain and I don't trust his memory, and I especially do not trust that he is physically or mentally capable of holding the highest and most complex position in our government!

Like it or not, I feel and many others including conservatives insiders feel that McCain is losing it and THAT IS INDEED a point of substance. To play it off as "ageism" is disengenuous and naive, and as usual shows weak-spined Dems not willing to see the elephant in the room! McCain can't beat the odds forever. We don't need a McCain presidency, but if that is what we get, we don't need ALL of his presidency to look like the last few years of Reagan's presidency. Good grief.

10. A maverick is just another kind of cow.
With this new VP pick, the Alzheimer's question seems more pertinent that ever. Both because of the erratic nature of the choice and because if he does succumb to Alzheimer's or any other major problem, we'd be stuck with a fundamentalist beauty queen. A maverick is just another kind of cow and this one may well be mad.

11. Look, it's may be....
....that McLame is suffering with the 'big onset'...but now's not the time to bring it up. We can't give the Repugs any reason to dump the senile SOB next week and, perhaps, end up with somebody that'll be tougher to whip in November. Just let this go on and we'll, aka Obama/Biden, will wipe the floor with them both over the next couple of months and the choice will be overwhelmingly clear.

14. A presidential candidates health is a very valid concern especially in light of his VP selection.
We're not talking about someone who is crippled or missing a limb.

12. The point could be deftly made without mentioning Alzheimer's.
The explicit use of the word "Alzheimer's" is problematical. List the lapses in memory, fine. The conclusion will follow on its own.
