Sen. Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania noted a McCain voting record in the Senate that largely tracks Bush administration wish lists.

Said Casey: "That's not a maverick, that's a sidekick."

As part of the Democratic effort to tie McCain tightly to President Bush, he scoffed that Republicans were "asking for four more years." After a brief pause, he added, "How about four more months?"

He stirred the crowd with that line, setting off a brief round of chants of "Four more months."
