I would say yes, James is right in many ways. But I also think that tonight was the first night, and it was about Teddy Kennedy and introducing Michelle Obama. As much as the Right has tried to demonize her it probably was best to hold up on the attacks on her day of the convention. Look for Hillary to be about reconciliation and Warner to probably reach out a little bit along those lines too. But once Biden comes along, then things will heat up considerably I think. But from here on out, I think the message will shape up nicely.

3. yet you still watched this and replied
Or at least replied.

But he's right about this. For the most part.

And she just didn't rave about it, she published it. There are plenty of DUers married to Republicans, you probably should discount their opinions too.

9. I also could care less what he thinks
but that is because he has become a burden to our party due to his Clinton mania, not because of his wife.

Does who someone's spouse is really say EVERYTHING about that person to you? I think that is very sad.

10. there you go
If anything his Clinton mania, as you put it, is a problem, not his wife. Also, I am wary of Carville because Clintonism worked for Bill Clinton and has proven a losing strategy other than in his one instance, so I always see him as still trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. That just doesn't work anymore and never fully did, you know?

8. Carville needs to STFU
After the primary, when he trashed Obama right and left and gave ammo to the Hillary holdouts, if this guy considers himself a Democrat he needs to shut the hell up in public about any criticism he might have about Obama and his campaign. The party can criticize itself and work for betterment, yes. But it should be done in the party and this asshat (who I used to respect) is only hurting the party every time he opens his mouth in the last few months.

Take a nice long vacation, Jimmy.

14. Every four years....
....we have to re-establish the fact that Democrats are ordinary carbon-based life forms, don't have cloven hooves, or eat their young.

It's not surprising it takes a whole evening to do it.

15. A New Low For Cable News: Criticizing Their Edited View As If It Was What Actually Happened
I started watching the Convention last night with the idea that I'd watch both CNN & MSNBC (eg, I'd watch one until a commercial, switch to the other until their commercial, switch back, etc.). It quickly became apparent, however, that neither seemed too interested in actually showing the Convention: they were much more interested in what their overpaid and underthoughtful analysts had to say.

But the worst of all, is that they subsequently criticized the edited view of the Convention they themselves created! Read this post to see what good old boy James Carville (who needs to join Bill out at the pasture) was too busy giving his self-important opinions to hear.
