A blast from the past.

Being unable to count houses is nothing. Back just 2 years ago McCain was in his prime. Then he could make a gaffe so egregious it should have cost him the Republican nomination.

Like telling a bunch of AFL-CIO union members that American workers are lazy, to their faces, on tape.

Seriously the only way he wins is if a majority of Americans manage to find an excuse not to vote for Obama so they do not have to come to terms with the real reason why they didn't. Hence the negative ad blitz which has forced both sides into an early mudfight.

:blush: Really the credit is to smintheus at dailykos for using his first-page clout to remind the community that McCain said this at an opportune time, rather than bloviating about who's gonna be VP or any of the other pointless things we waste our time with online.

I just took his cue and dug up the audio with a YouTube search. The only reason I even slapped together this video was that the audio was trapped inside a winger radio show screed, and I wanted to make it available without that wrapper so someone more talented would see it and work it into the whole McCain "houseboating" we had going on.

Thanks all for getting it out there, I really wasn't expecting it to go much of anywhere until Jed Report or someone got on it.
Kinda wish I had had time at the moment to do a better job on it, but I guess it's the message that's important.
