3. Totally agree.............
The ONE obstacle keeping all hell from breaking loose (as it did) was JFK. For the Vietnam War to really take off, that ONE obstacle had to be eliminated. JFK along with Lennon should be martyred!! War makes money for certain powerful people

Funny that the Government feared Lennon. Interestingly enough, the Government acknowledged Lennon's influence on America more than he did. Lennon simply used his popularity to spread his feelings for peace... Naive, yes. Brave, hell yes! The government actually feared Lennon's protesting to the point of banning him from America....I remember when he was banned from entering the US

Can't wait to see it

thank you pharoah!!

6. Just saw it yesterday. Excellent film. The connection to today's situations is astounding.
I think they learned from Nixons problems by

- using 9/11 to rally for war
- using fear tactics to keep people in support of war
- hiding activity by declaring everything vital to national security
- eliminating the draft (and massive protests)
- taking over big media (to prevent real war coverage)
- setting up unitary executive powers

I fell in love with John all over again but still felt despair at how much more control they have over us now. I honestly don't see how to fight back without waking up massive numbers of americans. We don't now have anything like the Chicago 7 or Panthers or true underground operations. They have effectively eliminated radical spokespeople.

9. I just got done watching it....I love John Lennon (and Yoko!).
This nation was blessed to have him fighting for peace - a time we needed him most.

12. Footage of Lennon is always interesting but the commentators they showed didn't make me wanna watch
I saw Geraldo, Yoko, G Gordon Liddy, some guy I didn't recognize, Mario Cuomo, and Gore Vidal.

I hate Geraldo, am indifferent at best with Yoko, think Liddy is a joke, and find Gore Vidal longwinded and creepy.

The only one I like listening to that I know is Cuomo.
