Nielsen's been with David Zucker for a LONG time. Airplane, Naked Gun Movies. He basically owes his later career as a comedic icon to the ZAZ movies, so I'd chalk it up to doing a favor for a long-time friend rather than because he agrees with Zucker's political outlook.

Besides, Nielsen's shown he'll be in any dumbass comedy you pay him to do (honestly not criticizing him, though). If he was willing to do "2001: A Space Travesty", I don't see why he'd have any qualms about doing "An American Carol."

I remember when he said something to the effect of "it is hard to be a liberal after what I have been through". I was like "WTF?" Conservatives want to help people with addictions by throwing them in jail, while we tend to prefer therapy.

Die Hard, Goonies, License to Kill, etc. Usually plays the villain or some other shady character (for instance, asshole FBI agent in Die Hard).

RDJ is a Democrat I believe. He is not in the film. Neither is Rosie O'Donnell. They tried to sneak that in. The woman's name is Rosie O'Connell. Sneaky bastards they are!

Apparently, 9/11 changed everything for Zucker. At that point he got disgusted with Liberals and realized that the left couldn't win the war against terrorists. :puke:
