GOP strategist John Feehery attacks Barack Obama for proposing a UN Security Council resolution to deal with the crisis in Georgia...but John McCain has the exact same position.

It provided for a funny moment on Hardball -- but only if you knew the facts. Unfortunately, neither host David Shuster nor Democratic strategist Chris Kofinis knew the truth, so nobody corrected the record.

1. Does this guy work for the McCain campaign? If he does he must have used
...the talking points from several weeks ago

2. Is John McCain president already? The Administration needs to
tell him to stand down on this conflict. Sending Lieberman and Lindsey to Georgia...I think McCain looks "presumptuous."

3. No, only going to countries not at war looks presumptuous
Like Germany.

Going to countries involved in active conflict, if you are a Republican candidate,
is apparently no more presumptuous than crossing the street to buy a sandwich.

4. you have to have a part in starting the conflict

in order to not look presumptuous.

you have to have made promises, etc.

It's no good if you actually can have meetings with world leaders and deal with their issues/concerns -- that is presumptuous.

Just go in and bomb them, bring them to heel, make them beg. That's the kind of american leadership I'm talkin about. good old boy stuff.

(sarcasm)
