I just went to MSNBC for info, and apparently Georgia is trying to reclaim a former territory of theirs. I guess the Russians don't want to give up that area. This has been culminating for the last 15 years.

7. It appears to be a very complex story

but meanwhile innocent civilians are being bombed. Now Russia is saying that Ukraine has encouraged and armed Georgia.
