The problem with Obama attacking back in kind, versus Kerry (who should have), is that the Repugs will say in code, "Oh! Look, now he's the angry black man and you don't want that now do you white America"? In a way Barack has to be the Jackie Robinson of politics. You saw how they did Harold Ford, Jr. Obama needs to get his surrogates (Move On, etc) to make the really heavy-duty attack ads.

Covers a ton of concerns and encourages listeners that we have the power ... we just have to get in and do the work. When those campaigning don't have anything of value to offer they turn to smut. For Obama to retaliate with like negative ads would only tag him as another dirty politician. He knows and his campaign know exactly what they are doing.:thumbsup:

He needs to do an ad in a simliar tone talkng about Americans courage. How Americans stand tall in the face of adversity. He needs to demonstrate the leadership we have been missing since 911 and get the American people up off of their knees.

Obama needs to yank the fear card right out of McRove's slimey hands by reminding Americans that we are not a bunch of gutless wonders. "We are Americans. Stand tall."

Nothing would make McBush look more pathetic than Obama trumping his fear card with authentic national pride.

Malloy thinks so, but if we don't try, nothing will change. Every movement bucks all reason in the the minds of the majority. I really think that it will take a progressive push to improve our future. Our US must realize that in order to regain our first rate status we must take the lead in environmental innovation through a democratically triumphant government. What's wrong with having pride in restoring Earth's balance and finding waste free renewable products that replenish and enhance our human existence? We live here we need to be responsible for it's health as well as prosperity.

Obama is syanding for a Healthy and Prosperous America. Placing common good along side corporate profit is what benefits us most.

The repetitive use of the word "hands," I guess. And all the connotations about our hands...there's even that religious song about us being in God's hands.
