3. I don't know.
As someone who was never a fan of Reagan, I don't embrace the Obama comparison to him. In this clip, I related most to the Californians who were speaking against Reagan, not so much for what they were saying but because they were against him. {petty as it is}

And for the Reaganites? Wouldn't comparing Obama to "his greatness" be akin to comparing him to Moses? (Only mccain can do that, in a condescending, "humorous" fashion). Wouldn't they see Obama as over-reaching? I think we need something else....:shrug:

6. i enjoyed this.
the hypocrisy of claiming obama is only being a celebrity and reagan being voted in because he was a celebrity. way to throw it back at them. the same things they are saying about obama was said back then about him. all of the slobbering love and adulation of the celebrity disgusted me and now i am enjoying it. hahahaha

9. It's a good spot because it addresses mcbush's comments about Obama being merely a celebrity
and having no deep experience, while he claims his military record and his experience in government makes him the better choice.

The republikkan candidates made a big deal about tying themselves to Ronald Reagan and this spot addresses their fawning over him.

If you ask many people in America that have been voting for 1/2 century or more what election was the clearest for them in who to vote for it was 1980 and 75% of those people will tell you Ronald Reagan was clearly the better choice.

You can argue til the end of time over what Reagan did and how good a President he really was, but that doesn't address the fact that most people feel comfortable with having voted for him.

10. Good idea---needs editing
The first two minutes are all that is needed. Forget the repugs in debate shots.
People don't have a long enough attention span to follow the whole thing.
But it would piss off the Repubs comparing Obama's campaign to Reagan in 1980.
