The loss of life really opened people's eyes. I know McCain was there, but he didn't cause this and I don't think it should be brought into the campaign...unless candidates are talking about military r&d, etc.

You categorically claim "he didn't cause this." Can you prove that? Or do you just "think" he didn't cause it? Where do you come by your certainty?

10. I'm in the Navy

I've watched/studied the incident numerous times for firefighting schools. If you watch the full length video, you can see the rocked come across the screen from right to left and hit the plane next to McCain's. You can then see him climb out of the cockpit, slide down the nose of the plane and hop off and to the right.

I don't care for McCain, but I do care about the truth. The cause of the incident was an electrical malfunction, and actually, for once in his life, McCain was just a bystander in an incident.

But, more importantly, I think it's ridiculous to politicize an incident that killed or wounded almost 300 people and seriously damaged millions of dollars worth of equipment. The GOP may resort to lies and character attacks, but we're better than that. We only need the truth to take out McCain, and this isn't part of it.
