Plus he tells a funny story. On another note, I always liked his work with The Stray Cats.... I think I'm a little off on that.

Jag! He's awesome. I love border collies. I had one for almost 16 years, from the time I was about 7 to 22. She was so smart, it was unbelievable.

There are a few links to him with Jag here, it's adorable.

3. hey, all the more reason to like Schweitzer!
I have a BC mix and help a little with BC rescue. D.C. may not be the best place for a dog like that is the only problem :) Will check out your link...

7. I'm thinking he'd be great in 2016...after 8 years as VP.
The realistic me wants to cite all of the times we've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

The hopeful me believes that Obama is bright enough to tap Schweitzer for VP.

8. I haven't heard his name on any VP short-list for Obama
but I don't mind it that way.

9. I saw it on a few lists
earlier on. I doubt he'd want to leave Montana though. He's going to get reelected this year and he loves his job, I think he wants to stick with it. But, I guess if approached, that would be tough to say no to.

10. Sen. Testor said it would be hard for the Good Guv to turn down
Unfortunately for Schweitzer, the Montana Gov's re-election cycle is the same as the Presient's cycle. I do think he's the man for the job. His life experiences in Saudi Arabia would be an asset for Obama and this country.
