2. Back when Edwards

suspended his campaign, I, and some others who'd been faithful to JE, started to have an E-mail rally with Chuck Todd. If it really WASN'T Chuck Todd we were talking with, it was one yappy intern under his tutelage.
Our argument was that JE had never really "taken off" because the media purposely marginalized him for the bigger show of a gal vs. a black for the White House. And they did a great job of it too! Consider that Edwards came in #2 in Iowa and thanks to the media, you hardly even knew he'd been in contention! Anyway, in this E-mail interplay, Todd couldn't/wouldn't concede that the media had any influence on JE's getting pushed aside. It was as if I'd just landed on Jupiter and asked one of the locals there, what they thought of JE's treatment by the media. This when they had (literally) no Earthly idea who JE was or what "the media" was!
And here we have NBC's political guru. <sigh> :boring:

3. I commented on the YT website about this piece--twice actually since I am wearing a dunce cap today

But, it bears repeating here: Is MSNBC trying to increase viewership via creating controversial pieces that will be viewed over and over and possibly produce a flood of responses? Are they hoping to create a viewership profile based on the numbers and kinds of responses they receive? Are they slipping in the ratings? All, some, none of the above?

Everybody wants their "piece" of O, apparently. Maybe we will hear more about it on their evening programming. Who knows?

As I stated in another post, I am leaning more towards CNN's broadcasting anyway. The Keith O outrages are fun, but for straight-shooting CNN gets my vote--at least for now.

16. I think the answer to that HippieChick, is a resounding "Yes"!

The only time I watch MSNBC anymore is for Keith...The others, Todd, Shuster, Tweety, will scrape the bottom of any barrel to have SOMETHING negative or "controversial" to say about Obama...
These are the same guys who, during the primary, made a big deal about Obama being in a diner and ordering orange juice instead of coffee!!...e.g. "He's not a regular guy -- He doesn't know how to act in a diner"!!
It would actually be hilarious if it weren't trying to pass itself off as "journalism" or even legitimate "commentary".

get a little "lost" on that David Gregory Show?..She's the only true progressive there and it seems that the "framing" of the show is all about the "horse race" and there's not much she can do about that....Just my take.
