4. I'm not surprised.

Rush spent the entire nineties portraying the vast juggernaut conspiracy of women, minorities, gays, poor people, and any other previously invisible group. The white bourgeoisie ate it up with a spoon because they've been in a panic ever since they started hearing about that stuff in the sixties. Never mind that they've consistently gotten the best shake out of all these decades of ups and downs, they only perceive that since all these scary minority folk "appeared" they must be responsible for all of the country's problems. It's not surprising that the minorities have now sprouted unstoppable resources, in the form of the one rich liberal Rush can think of off hand.

Hitler pulled the same trick with stupid middle-class Germans regarding the Jews and international culture.
