5. considering Obama's career path
that is a bunch of BS. Nader hasn't spent one minute on the south side of Chicago. He's too busy whoring for attention.

9. Try having a history of slavery in your country.
I'm just saying. You can choose not to react but you can't ever get away from it.

Another washed up politician that is sour about his history in the game. Never have thought much of this old fart.

7. Is Obama Running for President of the USA
or is he only running for President of black people. It seems like there are more then just Black and White people in this country, and that Obama must appeal to all of them. It would be very harmful for him to have a message that only spoke to one race then all the people that he will have to lead.

15. True that.
Obama is running for President of the USA. He has been reaching out to all Americans, unlike all other Presidents in my lifetime.

Other Presidents spoke only to one race and it didn't hurt them one bit, but Obama does not have that luxury.

8. mr nadar needs to listen to black talk radio in Chicago where people know
Obama best and where he does frequent interviews live on the radio. Obama is very popular. Sure it's a diverse community and not everyone thinks he's great, but most do.

10. I actually don't see anything wrong with what he said, and i'm black.
Obama does try to stay away from being portrayed as "the black candidate."

He does except a lot of corporate money

And he does censor himself so that he can wiin the presidency. He's just as liberal as Dennis Kucinich, but he knows he won't get elected if he acts like Kucinich.

I disagree that Obama hasn't spoken about how he'd improve low income areas, becasue he has, but other than that, I think Nader was pretty correct in what he said.

17. The fact that Barack seeks to be "post racial" means he's "talking white"?
I'm sorry, malik, but I don't agree. That's true only if you subscribe to the old paradigm of racial stereotyping and labels, which Barack hopes to move beyond. Nader has become a bitter old man. That's sad.

23. I don't agree with the term "talking white" necessarily but I'm willing to give him a pass.
He's just talking about how Obama has been moving to the center in general, and doing this balancing act.

11. The problem with bitterness
is that it eventually ends up making you a jackass. If you're Ralph Nader, this happened around the time you declared that Al Gore is no different from George Bush. Heck, you're probably also bitter that Obama used this to prove that you don't know shit about anything, and you know he's right. It's a vicious spiral baby, feeds on itself. All it does is make you dumber. Get your head straight and then maybe we can talk.

21. Nader is a racist idiot.
All the talking heads on MSNBC were appalled by his statements, liberal or conservative, white or brown. Heck, Joan Walsh, a Hillary loyalist, was struck absolutely speechless. All she could do was sputter in outrage at the unadulterated racism on display.

Nader is making his 5th run for the Presidency, having made the grand (in his mind) announcement in February/08

on Meet the Press. I only discovered this tonight, in Wikipedia. Who knew? Some people, but not enough of them

to rally around the man and carry him to the WH.

I bet he blamed the MSM for gutting his campaign, when in fact, when you're hot, you're hot....and when you're

not...

In his '12 Political Issues that Matter', Nader draws up a chart http://www.votenader.org/issues/ that is immediately open

for ridicule (o why can't these elderly guys recall Bob Dylan's lyrics, if they EVER listened to them.. 'get out of the road

if you can't lend a hand'?) Because THIS time, it is about changing. Like learning to get along with other Americans first

(giving respect where respect is due...come on) and with people throughout the world. There he rates himself as being the only

one of the 3 candidates who has any interest in cracking down on corporate crime (4), and (7) 'Reversing policy in the Middle East.

I did detect a slight sneer of total disrespect (for Obama as a person) as soon as his name was mentioned.
