Bruce Springsteen performed before about 80,000 people who were there to see John Kerry in Madison, WI on October 28, 2004.

This is part of a upcoming documentary about the 2004 Election from a grassroots perspective.

1. I saw him with a friend in the Twin Cities in the Act For Change concert.
It was phenomenal. HE was phenomenal. I always "liked" Bruce, but I LOVE the man now. ;)

Thanks for the post, recommending.

2. If only we could turn back the clock to that date, reverse the Election Fraud...
...and instead in a Parallel Universe (if necessary) have JK for Prez the last 3 yrs. What a different world this would be!

Thanks for the post! I remember nostalgically the anticipation and crowds, & all of Bruce's efforts so clear.

I had SO looked forward to volunteering for JK campaign this year. But, sadly, a void.

If only time and decisions could be altered...just this once...for the betterment of all. Sigh...

3. I still get chills...
Like you, I was really ready to get back on the JK Train..and like you said, there is a void.

When I videotaped that event, there was just no way to show just how large the crowd was from my vantage point. It was stunning and electric. Kerry was spot on and in control of the crowd. There was indeed so much hope. All for naught...

I've decided to give Obama a chance this time around. We'll see how that pans out.
