I have never heard a news commentator defend a public official like she did Bush. What business is it of her's that the Mayor disagrees with Bush's war policies? She whipped into action. She has been trained ahead of time to nip certain things in the bud. That much is clear. With her shrill voice miked up to max volume she says, wait wait, I have to stop you there...At that point her job is to discredit the accusation and begin the doublespeak express ride down obfuscation lane. "Give me a specific example" is a well known tactic to employ when trying to discredit someone. It implies that the questioner denies that there is any specific example while putting the the other person off guard and forcing them to begin defending. During the defense the questioner interrupts the answer to further frustrate their argument and befuddle their attempt to defend the assertion.

Fox brought the man on to chastise him because they feel his manners when treating the president needed to be questioned. Talk about bad manners? When is it ever considered good manners for the interviewer to cut off an answer for the reason of time only to then take extra time for self serving jabs that allow for no response from the guest?

What am I talking about? This is FOX. No real rules of journalism or even common human decent behavior are to be expected.

When it comes to interview requests from FOX Fake news I agree witht that old Reaganism, "Just say NO."

24. Well, you have a good point there. Rocky will not convince most who watch the show.

But my understanding from reading is there are many independents who watch Fox News. Alan Colmes gives a good argument many times. My opinion is up in the air for those Democrats who go to Fox for a voice. I don't like why Lanny Davis did it, but there are some good people from our side who do make an great argument. There might be Fox News viewers who see something that makes them start to think.
