I know a lot of DUer's don't care for the Woman but I've always liked the way she

2. Finally, someone in the Media says it
I've changed my mind about this recently. I certainly think there is ample evidence to impeach this president. Should we hold off because it takes too much time and trouble and would divide the country? I used to think so, but now I think we must impeach just to preserve our constitution. Otherwise, this evil man will get away with the worst and most far-reaching crimes in history.

4. Rosie tells it like it is. That's why I love her.
She has an aggressive/assertive personality that raises a lot of hairs. In this respect, I think she is like Rush. She is not afraid to use words that are consider taboo by society in order to make a point.

Note: I respect Rosie much more than Rush because she tries to keep her comments not only technically truthful, but intellectually honest as well. Rush doesn't worry about intellectual honesty, which is why his audience is as large as it will ever get. Rosie is a much easier target for right-wingers, because she has scruples.

7. ha!
the view's resident "I support the President in all he does" republican, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, formerly Elisabeth Filarski, is best known to audiences as a participant on the wildly popular second edition of the "Survivor" reality show, "Survivor: The Australian Outback." In August, 2004, Mrs. Hasselbeck spoke at the Republican National Convention, where she delivered a heartfelt speech that emphasized her continued effort in support of Breast Cancer prevention and research. Ms. Hasselbeck and her husband, NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck of the New York Giants have one daughter, Grace.

She sided with Rosie on the Trump thing, so she's not totally delusional, but obviously, she's under the impression that an attack on Bush during war is an attack on the troops and America. I kid you not...

8. That seems to be her position

(S)he's under the impression that an attack on Bush during war is an attack on the troops and America.

An attack on Bush during war is an attack on an incompetent commander-in-chief. If I had thought this was war was a good idea in 2002, I would probably be more upset with Bush than I am.

17. Still hate her. She'll make a joke of the impeachment issue yet.
Just as she once made it of arms control, by making Tom Selleck look good with her erratic behavior.
I didn't forget her flling in love with * after 911 either. Nor her attacks on Clinton.

18. Not me, I don't have strong feelings about Rosie one way or another. I'm
glad she raised impeachment on a nationaly syndicated TV show.

I think that is a positive thing.

35. I think she, understandably, had a breakdown after 911
Living so close to what happened on 911 and being under the gun for coming out of the closet I think overwhelmed her good senses but she's back to earth and on a roll.

As far as attacking Clinton, don't you think that what Clinton did was incredibly stupid? He knew the republican's were looking for anything to pin him on and he screws around with a bimbo? Not to mention NAFTA - there was a great move on Clinton's part - except the republican's didn't care about that one because they loved it too.

23. I don't think it takes much to make Elizabeth look like a moron
Anyone who says that we can't stand up to this president in a time of war is simple-minded, there's no other way to say it. This war is wrong, illegal and our staying there only makes the situation worse. Standing behind this dictator makes all of America look as evil and misguided as Bush himself. He has no standing in the world. We need to tell the world, he is NOT OUR PRESIDENT! He stole the office, and he doesn't speak for us now.

Go Rosie!

27. You should have seen the rest
I think Rosie's time is about up on the View; Walters got pissed at her...again. Can't wait for Rosie's big blow up when she figures out she's about to get axed. Too bad though, love seeing her and she's been great for the show.

28. I heard that Walters was trying to reign Rosie in a bit. But, she needs to let Rosie be Rosie.
Was she expecting Kathy Gifford?

On the other hand, the RW is blowing this out of proportion because Rosie dared say what America is feeling/thinking.

Welcome :hi:

30. but to me, that's ridiculous
Barbara would be dumb to fire Rosie despite the crowds cheering loudly when she makes a point? I know in my gut that Babs feels her decision to hire her was a mistake overall but she loves that the ratings are great, but I think it will be Rosie who decides when Rosie goes, I really believe that, because JOY has Rosie's back... I lovvvve Joy as much as Rosie almost, and she is so on Rosie's side with every issue and they dare not piss off either one of them if the other goes, ya know? It puts Barbara in an uncomfortable position I'm sure... you could be right, we'll see!

32. Baba Wawa, OTOH
Unfortunately, Barbara Walters got the last word in this clip.

Just after Rosie said, "We can impeach a president for having an affair.", Baba Wawa chimes in with the old canard, "He was impeached because he lied."

B.S. He was impeached because he couldn't keep his pants zipped.
