George Steph., good corporate puppet as he is, STILL asks Axelrod if Hillary won't be the VP choice.

Uh, no, George. She makes too many "unfortunate" statements. Like the one you just asked about.

2. Why do these commentators ask questions that the
campaign spokesperson is NOT going to answer?

Same with Terry McAuliffe. Both he and Axelrod were doing their J.O.B. as aggravating as it is to listen to their non-responses.

And both campaigns should remember that they get 'found out' regarding their behind-the-scenes tactics.

5. I like his composure and how he sticks with the facts, unlike Hillary's two moonbats.

6. This Axelrod?
Mosena was a member of Obama's Senate Finance Committee in 2004. Other members included Valerie Jarrett, Tony Rezko, Rita Rezko, and Allison Davis. The committee raised more than $14 million, according to the Sun-Times on April 23, 2007. Jarrett serves on Obama’s presidential finance committee.

Rezko was backing Bush for reelection while he served on Obama's senate campaign. He co-hosted a $3.8 million Chicago fundraiser for Bush in 2003, and on December 9, 2003, he donated $4,000 to Bush, listing himself as a "self-employed businessman," and gave another $2,000 on December 19, 2003, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Mayor Daley's brother Bill is currently an Obama advisor. The Mayor's chief image defender, David Axelrod, is a top strategist for Obama and was also the media consultant for Obama's US Senate campaign.

On April 1, 2007, Dick Simpson, a former Chicago alderman and chairman of the political science department at the University of Illinois, told the New York Times: "Axelrod’’s mostly been visible in Chicago in the last decade as Daley’s public relations strategist and the guy who goes on television to defend Daley from charges of corruption”.

Corruption within the Daley administration has no beginning and no end.
The Feds arrested 15 more people in Chicago this week, including developers, contractors and city employees. "A mole wore a wire for a year while acting as a bagman carrying bribes from developers and contractors to Chicago building inspectors, exposing systemic corruption in the Zoning and Buildings Departments," according to a May 22, 2008 Tribune report.

7. Yes, this one..
In 2004, Axelrod worked for the presidential campaign of John Edwards. During the campaign, he lost responsibility for making ads, but continued as the campaign's spokesman. Commenting on Edwards' failed 2004 presidential campaign, Axelrod has commented "I have a whole lot of respect for John, but at some point the candidate has to close the deal and — I can’t tell you why — that never happened with John."

In 2006, Axelrod consulted for several campaigns, including for the sucessful campaigns of Eliot Spitzer in New York's gubernatorial election and for Deval Patrick in Massachusetts's gubernatorial election. Axelrod also served in 2006 as the chief political adviser for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair U.S. Representative Rahm Emanuel for the U.S. House of Representatives elections, in which the Democrats gained 31 seats.
---

They all serve the same politicians. I guess we should look up Terry?

Terry McAuliffe:
Under his tenure, the Democrats lost House and Senate seats in the 2002 and 2004 Congressional elections, while their Democratic nominee narrowly lost the 2004 presidential election. In 2002, McAuliffe drew some controversy when he announced that he would not channel funds towards Carl McCall's campaign for Governor of New York. Congressman Charles B. Rangel protested that this would alienate the black vote and McAuliffe reversed himself. McCall was defeated by a large margin by incumbent George Pataki.

Herman v. Moore
In 1999, the U.S. Department of Labor sued Jack Moore, pension fund manager for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, on the basis of several deals made with McAuliffe. In one deal, McAuliffe and the pension fund partnered to buy commercial property in Florida, with McAuliffe investing $100 while the pension fund put up $39 million. McAuliffe received a 50% interest in the partnership and emerged with $2.45 million from his original $100 investment. The lawsuit was called Herman v. Moore, with Alexis Herman, the Secretary of Labor, as the plaintiff. In October 2001, Moore and another union official agreed to pay six-figure penalties for their roles in the deals and the union agreed to reimburse the pension fund. McAuliffe was not charged with wrongdoing.

Global Crossing
McAuliffe has been criticized by political commentators such as William Safire and Arianna Huffington for his ties to Global Crossing, a company that went bankrupt in 2002<12> amidst what The New York Times called "many of the same accusations that have made Enron into one of the largest corporate scandals in history."

8. Great comments and comebacks by Axelrod to George's sometimes ridiculous questions.
The VP question is on the top of the list of "dumb" things to ask about.

And there's plenty others.

But I really admire David's demeanor and calmness in answering them.

We need change. Obama is the person to do it.
