It isn't about the disrespect to the Kennedy family, although it would have been nice to think about that.

It isn't even about bringing up such a bad memory for the Kennedys while they are facing a new tragedy, although it would have been nice to think about that.

It is about the very real possibility that it can happen again, and if it does happen, there is a very good possibility that her race-baiting would be a big factor in that.

And she appears to not even understand that the implication of her statement is that if somebody were to kill Obama, then the party would look to her as the replacement.

I don't believe she can be this stupid, so I must come to the conclusion that all of her actions are intentional and well calculated. This is a new low, even for her.

She said her husband did not win the nomination until June 3. Bobby Kennedy was still running for the nomination on June 6, 1968 when he was cut down. What the fuck about the dates don't you understand? People had not voted for the nominee at that point. She could be out there reciting the Lord's Prayer and you SOBs would be complaining about her. My question is this- Why did she mention the assassination this time when she has made the exact same point (which i agree with) MANY other times without mentioning the assassination. How about just answering the question instead of throwing insults?

She talked about looking to the past, and learning from our great leaders. Obama's campaign is all about moving forward! No doubt the entire Kennedy experience has lessons for that, but I am looking forward to a new Kennedy! IMO, we need to stop focusing on the past, and full speed ahead!!

Shes apologizing from at best a grocery store, if not a gas station or liquor store. She doesn't address the elephant in the room, and just focuses on the kennedys, which while nice completely ignores the broader implication of what she said. It really makes you wonder if her campaign is short changing the PR team because when you think of issuing a strong apology, I sure as hell don't want to do it with 5 rows of cheap vodka and tonic behind me.
